I’ve seen that “Don’t Talk to the Police” video you linked in your post #31 before. It is excellent, and should be seen by every American.
Unfortunately, most people don’t know enough about the topic. So they fall for the verbal tricks police use. And the police can legally lie to you. I’ve even heard of cases where the cops say, “If you don’t give a statement you could be charged with obstruction of justice.”

He should have added “I wanted to keep blasting the POS until he was a bloody pulp, but I ran out of ammunition.”

One thing is certain about the shooter. He is too old to be an aspiring rap/DJ.
In spite of what the movies and TV have you believe, on average it takes (on average) 3 shots to STOP an assailant, and no, most do not die.

I know the movies and TV like to portray it otherwise, but the actual statistics to neutralize a threat based on police incidents , on average is 3 hits.. (Technically 2.5 to 2.8) depending on the size of the round.
Word to the wise. If you are in a situation like this, do not say things like “I shot him again” to the police. Just clam up and invoke right to counsel. You never know when a DA wants to make a name for themselves.
Always good advice. Also, never talk to the media until ... well just never talk to the media.

I’m glad this homeowner was able to defend himself, but he should never have given out his Nickname, and he should absolutely NEVER have allowed his home and himself to be photographed for public viewing!!
I suspect the reporter has done this on purpose, hoping someone will come and break in again, or try to hurt this old man. Liberals are just petty and vindictive enough to do such a thing. Lurch may have been caught up in feeling like some kind of Celebrity, so he let his guard down, way down.
