I was having a similar conversation just the other day, though about over-cleanliness by parents of their children’s environment.

If a millenial mother knew what I did as a child, it might drive them to the psych ward.

In consideration of 2 years of gaslighting the public into hypochondria, I fully expect the rates of childhood asthma to multiply in the next few years. Perhaps then people can label it ‘causation’...since it’s obviously still debatable.
