The Monthly Fiber Arts Thread is a monthly gathering of people that love yarn and fabric of all kinds. From complete newbies that are looking to start that first project, to experienced fiber artists and beyond, we would love to hear from you.

It is impossible to hijack the Monthly Fiber Arts Thread. Knitting, crochet, quilting, weaving, general crafting - there is no telling where it will go, and that is part of the fun and interest. Jump in and join us! Send a Private Message to Diana in Wisconsin if you'd like to be added to our Fiber Arts Ping List.

NOTE: This is a once a Month Ping List. We do post to the thread during the month. Links to related articles and discussions which might be of interest to Fiber Arts fans are welcomed any time!

You can live vicariously through me! Here are pictures from our trip to Rainbow Fleece Farm, pre-Covid, when we were allowed to roam freely about the planet:

I love your pics!

Rainbow Fleece Farm is going on my bucket list!

I’ve been thinking about learning how to spin. Knots/factory joins in the yarn I buy are driving me batty. I found four knots/joins in one ball the other day.

I’m knitting a Doctor Who scarf at the moment, Tom Baker Era. Finally found some colors that come close. There are 47 stripes, so I’ve already got a bleep of lot of joins and weaving-in of ends to do.

Glad you enjoyed it. It was a fun day. I’d do it again.

That scarf sounds ambitious! I FINALLY got started on the re-do of the afghan I’m crocheting for another Blue Ribbon at the County Fair this season. Will it be a Three-Peat? Stay tuned!

I’m hedging my bets and also entering photography and canned goods this season. ;)
