It looks like spring is FINALLY here.
The potatoes are going in next week.
I usually plant 300 lb Yukon golds right after mothers day. It’s still down to zero at night here in Fairbanks and 4 foot snow in yard. I just plant tatoes, moose eat everything else. I was able to pick 4, 40 lb triple 16. Got it for 40 bucks a bag.
I have had problems putting potatoes in ground. How are you planting them?? Grow bags? Potato bags? Mounding in beds?
Throw out to everyone—Grow bags seem like might be worth a try but the potato bags seem expensive...
