Several Disney Employees Arrested in Major Pedophile Ring Bust: ‘Nasty, Nasty People’
Police task force announces sweeping arrests as part of ‘Operation Child Protector’
Several Walt Disney employees have been arrested as part of a major pedophile ring bust in Polk County, Florida, according to reports.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives led a police task force to conduct an undercover operation from July 27th through August 1st, 2021.
During the operation, law enforcement posed as children online to investigate pedophiles who prey on minors to groom before traveling to rape them.
The successful bust was part of a joint operation between detectives from the Auburndale Police Department, Orlando Police Department, Winter Haven Police Department, and Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
They named the anti-abuse task force sting: “Operation Child Protector.”
The suspects unwittingly communicated with and solicited undercover detectives for sex acts, believing they were speaking with underage children.
The suspects showed up to an undercover location at separate times to meet who they thought were children, to sexually batter them, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd detailed during a press conference.
Some of them transmitted pornographic images while grooming and soliciting the children online, and they were appropriately charged for that as well.
