This is still me in every pet store or other situation where some rando dog appears...and I’m not ashamed of it.
Couple years ago I was having some intense conversation with a friend in a parking lot when a dog walked by.
Without warning, I immediately dropped down to the dog’s level and started loving on him, leaving the now-ignored friend still standing, wondering where the hell I’d vanished to.
;D
Dog people are often born and stay that way the rest of their lives. I met the G D when my parents and I were living in a 4 room apartment in Chicago. To say the least, my father was taken a bit aback wen I asked if we could have one. Nevertheless, I did get one about 12 years ago. Best dog I ever had.
Yes, that is also me. Business meeting. Getting busted by the cops. “Hello! Doggy!” (police dog sniffs my hand, thinks, “Do that again, lady, and I’m going to maul you.”)
Ditto. Love dogs. I know every single one of them in my neighborhood by name and where they live. Every time we see each other it's like a joyous reunion even though I saw them the previous day!
