It’s really pretty. Lots of bald eagles. Fish in the river and reservoirs, prairie dogs, quite a feast.
I would have law enforcement look for them, maybe on the dark web, or maybe they’re being marketed to som rich Saudis?
“Road Weenies” love FLAIR!
Probably traded for 3 baggies of crack.
You go alone or with someone?
I have a hard time finding a riding partner.
By myself. And not on weekends. Too many people.
I don’t see how you can place a playing card in the spokes.....lol. I’ll take my Stingray with banana seat and sissy bar....
My guess is that they were stolen-to-order by a competitor.
Cops investigating a burglary?
That’s weird.
I’d think the two bevel gears would have more friction than a chain. Can it shift gears?
= = =
Yes.
Chain drive 1-4 % friction loss.
Shafts about 20-25 % friction loss.
Unless it is easier to hide battery powered motors in the shaft design????
Now the gear shifting may be more continuous with the shaft design, kind of like a CVT transmission. But is that worth the friction loss?
“Chain drive 1-4 % friction loss.
Shafts about 20-25 % friction loss.”
Ouch! There are a lot of bevel gear assemblies out there. Those must be more efficient.

Also see power transmission category on the site.
Two are prototypes, definitely worth the monies.........
I own a shaft drive bicycle, but I only paid less than 1K for it. Sadly, the company I bought it from went out of business a few years ago. The bike has a nine-speed internal hub on the rear wheel, and the first thing you’d notice is how oddly smooth it feels.

Like there are a lot of democrats out there, they must be more efficient.
Bevel gears have other positive uses, like changing direction, and size and space limitations. The friction loss is a trade-off.
