I’ve read enough to understand that Fauci simply cannot retire. He’ll lost the protection offered by being a government employee and would spend his entire retirement in jail. Where he belongs
If he retires he’d probably destroy several paper shredders cleaning up before he leaves.
Oh, there’s lots of science.
But protecting public health was NEVER the goal.
There was a comment I came across online (by another reader of the same book) that I found very interesting:
"It is an indictment of our entire system that Fauci has been able to remain in his position for as long as he has."
I’ve been thinking the exact same thing as I read the book.
Chapter one should be required reading by every single lawmaker, provided they have the brain cells to read

He not only proves he’s a liar, he proves he is ignorant. I would never get a flu vaccine because each years vaccine is a guess at which strains will be circulating in a given year. Sometimes the shot protects against none of the strains that circulate that year. Most often the efficacy is less than 50%.
By corollary, even if you have “the flu” it doesn’t protect you against all flu, you could be unlucky & meet a different strain. So Fauci the mountebank is correct about no flu shot and correct that having a virus is the best generator of immunity but again exposes his ignorance of basic medicine just as he did when ignoring the well known principle of NEVER starting an immunization drive during an epidemic.
