I’m almost sure it’s an April fools joke.
I only raised bees for a season or 2 but my Dad did for many years (and I was the unpaid help). I’m fairly sure most of the Ukraine is still chilly….and bees are cold blooded.

I don’t think that there are that many people who would go into shock from a honeybee sting. If there were, the Pentagon would be looking at it.

This is a joke. It’s about the same temperature here as it is in Ukraine. The local arboretum has a honey bee display and as of last weekend the new ones had not yet hatched.
BTW, a horse fly hurts a lot more than a honey bee. This story can’t be true.

The bees were reportedly humming ... the Ukrainian national anthem.

This is the famous Snake Island subspecies - if you can come back from the dead, getting aggressive in cold weather is a snap.

This reads like an April Fools hoax. Bees are not carnivores who like to feast on humans.
“...due to a lack of food.” LOL. If they attack as a swarm it’s only to defend their hive.

For lack of food they went to Russian soldiers. Very funny. 4/1/22.

I know they will say this is a joke, but there are several bio labs in Ukraine.
Not all of them work on viruses.
Just sayin'.
