See everyone later today. 3 full days now with no food. hungry lol. Should know today if what they’re doing is working and will clear the blockage or I’ll have to go into surgery.

I hate missing the Elon Musk week on Twitter. Give’m hell for me. 😂

Elon Musk has committed to nothing except more transparency and more free speech — and the Left is melting down. Which shows two things:

1. They hate transparency and free speech;

2. They always assumed Twitter opposed both, then gaslit everyone that Twitter wasn’t biased.

I posted the vid of this MSPMS idiot earlier, always accuse us of what they have or are doing, so much PROJECTION.....

‘This Can’t Be Real’: MSNBC Host’s Take on Musk Taking Over Twitter Is…Pure Perfection

And by perfection, I mean did this guy just awaken from a deep sleep? Was it a coma? You cannot be this dense. If this is a serious take, the liberal media bubble is more detached than ever. Facts and rationale cannot break through, which is how you get these braindead commentaries over Elon Musk buying Twitter.

It’s happening. The board accepted his $43 billion offer to purchase the company. It’s going back to being a private entity. Musk is offering $54.20 per share. The liberals are triggered. The woke employees are going nuts. And the liberal journalists working for billionaire-owned media companies are speed writing pieces about the dangers of the super-rich…owning media platforms. The lack of self-awareness is appalling.

‘Billionaires shouldn’t be in control of such powerful tools of information’ is going to be something I read in the billionaire-owned Washington Post. Amazon’s newspaper would like to warn you about the perils of rich guys owning media companies.

Back to MSNBC, Ari Melber warned about the power these platforms yield, from decreasing the reach of some posts and increasing it for others, to shadow banning whole slates of politicians from the opposite party. Oh, and you don’t even have to be transparent. All of this probably won’t be discovered until after the election, he added.

Hi Jane,

I’ve been lurking and keeping up with the big stories a little. FIL’s care is all consuming at the moment, feeding, dressing, changing, repositioning. He cannot walk but tries to anyway so I have to watch him like a hawk. Then when he’s asleep, I’m catching up on everything else around here.

BUT, we managed to get out of town - camping with the boys this week. We’ve hired 24/7 care for Frank and a farm sitter for the week.

If I had to choose a single tweet that captures the irrationality and incoherence of the panic over Elon's Twitter takeover, it'd be this one.

Every argument deployed to depict this as some dangerous moment applies exponentially to these other, much larger platforms: https://t.co/DSwk5WtPQo— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) April 26, 2022

Lol AOC with 36 followers - that would be so funny. Glad Catturd is well enough to stay in touch.

“I mean, let’s face it, what does the VP do that really counts. I mean beside not accepting a fraudulent election.”

That would’ve been nice.

That’s true, after all DeSantis has accomplished, it would seem like a step backwards. All to wait 4 years and see what happens. He’ll like have to run against the VP but with his track record of governor, that should be easy. (Fingers crossed). On other threads here, people want him to run in 2024. I hope he will wait.

“There’s a wetland about 800 feet across the open field. Lots of wonderful sounds for sleeping....frogs, bugs, birds (even at night)”

Oh NICE!!! I sure miss our pond and the frog serenade. We are trying to figure out where to dig a pond here. It rains enough it would be full most of the time. And I’m pretty sure frogs will just show up.

They can be, but there’s a hitch.

Under the Twelfth Amendment, each elector now casts a separate vote for the President and the Vice President. Specifically, the Twelfth Amendment of the Constitution states: “The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate.”

So if the the electoral vote was close enough that would matter.

Cheney registered to vote in Wyoming when Bush picked him as VP.
