The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.
One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.

I usually do not comment in the solution, but alas, QPRV, you should see what they've done to your IUGPFY.

Forgot to post my time, a leisurely 1:58.73. Hope I said it loud enough.
It has taken me most of a lifetime to be able to do what this author is saying to do. It has been one of my most fervent prayers to be able to do so. I’m getting there with God’s help. I promised to practice it on every Facebook post.
Many many years go, I heard James Carville say on TV, “Thank goodness for the unspoken thought.”.
It was so true, but so funny coming from him.
Pretty quick, never heard of the author.
Nor I.
Is the author’s name a number? Real or fictitious?
There is no there there (I’ve used this hint before).
I really think you would reach your goal a lot faster if you quit FB altogether.
Jesus did not hesitate to go among the tax collectors and other sinners to do His work. I don’t argue politics on Facebook as for the most part, you get no where arguing with the left. I just try to set an example, spread the love of the gospel, the truth of what will give you real freedom. I forget who said, “It’s so much better to promote what you love than to bash what you hate”, but it is so true.
I agree, you should not limit your relationships to people you agree with or who share your values or beliefs. Go ahead - go amongst the sinners.
But do it in real life - not on FaceBook. Facebook is unhealthy not because of who is on it, but because of the dehumanized format. Conversations on Facebook (if you can even call them conversations) are devoid of true human interaction.
It is ironic that it is called Facebook - when it is a random gathering of faceless avatars.
There is not one single person I speak to on Facebook that I do not know in person. I live in a remote mountain community. My Facebook friends are all old school friends, neighbors from past years, some of my web development business clients who became family friends and many relatives that live far away and many I don’t get to see very often, some too far away to probably ever see again in person. Facebook, like everything else that presents choices is what you make of it, I use it for what it can be to me and ignore the rest. FR is that way too, there are aspects of it and members of it that I have to ignore.
I know you mean well with your advice, and you are giving it in friendly thoughtfulness, and I thank you for that. I just wanted to point out that I have reasons for using Facebook, though I admit that once a week is enough. (unlike FR’svcrytograms which to do everyday😀

You make a good point - that FB isn’t the same for everyone.
My brother has said the same - that he has “friended” only people he wanted to friend.
I don’t understand how you and my brother could keep that kind of quality control over your friend list. For one thing, when I was on FB, as soon as I spoke up, friends of friends would see my comment and ask to be “friends”. If I knew them, it was kind of awkward to say no.
I am an artist and a musician, I not only have my long lost high school friends and my cousins, but I also “friended” many of my artist and musician friends - who all seem to be outspoken Republican haters and more recently, Trump haters. In the art and music community, it is a virtue to hate Republicans, and loathe Trump.
The problem is that these haters were only haters on FB. In person, they would never have said such hateful things - or if they did, they would quickly “read the room” and back off. People in real life mostly honor the old adage “no religion or politics”.
On FB, these people have no manners - no filter - they gang up and engage in group-think. Minority views (such as the idea that President Trump is a kind and decent man, and a very competent President) are not tolerated.
If you, like my brother, escaped that FB experience - good for you.
But now let’s talk about what you are endorsing when you use FB. What about the rampant censorship and cancel culture? What about the fact that Mark Zuckerberg was instrumental in the theft of the 2020 election?
I understand turning a blind eye to such things - I use Amazon and buy made-in-China products. Sometimes it seems like there is no alternative. But the CCP employs slave labor, organ harvesting, human trafficking and other despicable practices - and I’m endorsing that - not to mention taking jobs away from Americans.
I think FB is evil in so many ways - but I understand - I really do - life is full of compromises.
