Where has pandering to the freaks and sickos gotten us?
On April 10, 1899, while serving as the governor of New York, Theodore Roosevelt gave a speech titled “The Strenuous Life.” Roosevelt correctly identified and spoke on an objective truth:
“To pander to depravity inevitably means to increase the depravity. It is a dreadful thing that public sentiment should condone misconduct in a public man; but this is no excuse for the public man, if by his conduct he still further degrades public sentiment. There can be no meddling with the laws of righteousness, of decency, of morality.”
Now, in 2022, American culture is so depraved, its echoes that of Sodom and Gomorrah. Our culture and society has pandered to the once sequestered faction of sexual deviants and in doing so, the deviancy has skyrocketed.
The erroneously named “Don’t Say Gay” bill out of Florida, made obvious the alarming number of adult perverts in the school system. What is so conspicuously a parent’s rights initiative to protect young children from exposure to pornographic material, is facing hysterical opposition. It’s safe to say, efforts by teachers and school staff to expose kindergarteners to sexual material is pedophilic.

Teachers, don’t pedo groom the kids.
Trusting.
Until conservatives consider that their lives are on the line, they will continue to not appreciate the damage being done.
<< For whatever reason, whether it be that conservatives as a whole are too uninterested in child sexual abuse, or whether they are too cowardly for fear of the word “bigot,” >>
It’s mostly the latter. In their weak minds they’d rather stay silent than suffer being called anything with “phobic” suffix. They’re phobicphobics.
Funny how the party of sexual perverts that brought us Jeffery Epstein and Harvey Weinberg, are so interested in the genitalia of 5 year old children.
Absent minded? More likely, complicit.
Every classroom should have web cams and parents should be allowed to monitor the classroom anytime they want to.
working your ass off and paying taxes = absentmindness. I get it.
Absent minded? Not.
Most conservatives do, however, naively assume that the opposition is at least as forthright as they, themself, are.

.
Not only working, but working so that I could keep my kids out of public school.
They are cowards. The Margaret Thatcher character quoted this poem to the queen in an episode of “The Crown.”
No Enemies
by Charles Mackay
You have no enemies, you say?
Alas! my friend, the boast is poor;
He who has mingled in the fray
Of duty, that the brave endure,
Must have made foes! If you have none,
Small is the work that you have done.
You’ve hit no traitor on the hip,
You’ve dashed no cup from perjured lip,
You’ve never turned the wrong to right,
You’ve been a coward in the fight.
“Conservatives” should say to themselves that they allowed this to happen by expecting public schools - in decline for quite some time now, not like it’s a secret - to care about whether children actually learn anything useful as opposed to being indoctrinated into Leftist chaos culture.
There won’t be an appreciable change until all taxpayers stand up and demand an end to the public school system as we currently know it. Not just parents: ALL TAXPAYERS. Especially if it’s not your kids, or if you responsibly home-schooled your kids or sent them for private teaching, you shouldn’t have to contribute to the current system, which is working against all taxpayers.
“Conservatives” should have started having a problem with this many, many years ago. It’s not absentmindedness that’s killing us: It’s WEAKNESS and COWARDICE.
The problem isn’t the Left taking over the schools because that started oh, so long ago. The problem is that parents trust the system when there’s CLEARLY something wrong with it and think that they can force the teachers and administrators and political leaders to do something about it.
No: This is the way they like it and they’re not going to change.
Take your kids out of public school and get involved in tax reform.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
The mask has been torn for all to see. Same with Disney.
I hope they have seen in living color how school board elections - and the indoctrination that occurs in the classroom - most definitely affects them whether or not they have kids in school.
Amen.
Great point and and reminder, for EVERY property tax payer.
Traditional “conservatives” are worse than useless. Going back to the 70s, watching conservatives in action is like rooting for the washington generals playing against the globetrotters. The only things they’ve managed to get done were tax cuts for their corporate masters, and helping corporations send american jobs overseas. Now it looks like sending all our factories to communist china wasn’t such a genius idea after all. “conservatives” couldn’t even conserve bathrooms for girls and boys, and we have hulking male atheletes pretending to be girls winning girls competitions.
Ask the Catholic church.
