So you’re thinking Russia’s air superiority just couldn’t compete with the untrained citizens to whom were given weapons to fight the Russians, right? You completely buy the idea that Ukraine is kicking Russia’s back side while British and American mercenaries, and others, are reporting that there weren’t enough guns and those who got them were given no more then 10 rounds, and deserters trying to escape the Ukraine are stopped, their papers torn up, and told to go back and fight.

Australia is not a sovereign state. Their Governor General is appointed by Queen Elizabeth. The same is true of Canada.

-Facilitating the work of the Commonwealth Parliament and Government
-Dissolving Parliament and issuing writs for a Federal election
-Commissioning the Prime Minister; appointing Ministers and Assistant Ministers; and swearing-in other statutory positions
-Holding and possibly exercising the Reserve Powers.

The Governor General is the Commander-in-Chief of the Australian Defence Force. The Governor-General's duties as Commander-in-Chief include:
-Through Federal Executive Council, appointing the Chief of Defence Force and Service Chiefs
-Commissioning officers in the Navy, Army and Air Force

A sovereign state would not have someone in it that could dissolve their Parliament if a king or queen in a different country wanted it so.

Umm, the first three still exist as sovereign states, while the last two were dissolved by their own citizenry.

“Who gets to decide?”

That’s a pretty disputable philosophical question. Some would say “God decides”, if you follow the notion that sovereignty can only be granted by the ultimate Sovereign. Others would say “the people decide” if you put the right of self determination first. Still others would say “reality decides”, if you go in for the realpolitik view of things.

Why? Because they needed to bring the Soviet Union down, but they also want the resources that are in the Ukraine.

That’s what this is all about. Particularly Eastern Ukraine, massive natural resources that the CIA goes in, gets control of, and American business interests, and they’re not businesses they’re just robber barons. They’re not legitimate businessmen; they just want to steal and that’s what goes on. And so they’re taking that away from Russia and the Ukraine.

This I do believe and I offer Hunter Biden’s laptop as more recent evidence that the deep state iceberg is much larger, much colder and way more dangerous to navigation than it appears.

The reality is that a sovereign Ukraine today took the war to Russian soil.

Well, part of the original treaty signed by the US and Russia which recognized the sovereignty was an agreement not to extend NATO membership to Ukraine. So that was the original reason.

However, since Russia has abrogated that treaty several times now, that is no longer an impediment, and the only real barrier that is left is the agreement of the existing NATO member states.

On Gutfeld! a couple of nights ago they had KT McFarland. She said Putin can be neutered by getting oil below $85/barrel. She said he creates mischief in the world when oil is $85 or higher because he owns the oil in Russia and is awash in cash when oil is expensive. That being said she blamed Biden for killing off cheap oil, and triggering Putin. She said this will come to an end when Oil gets back in the $40-$60 range. I agree.
