Jackson Lee is a liberal Democrat. But I’ll give her credit for focusing on all the casualties we suffered in that region. Maybe she had ulterior motives. No matter. This is something that should not be swept under the rug.
As for Omar and Tlaib, what else would you expect? They are representatives of an evil cult that is bent on world domination. So it’s only natural that they’d celebrate every victory.

Well, in one sense of the word it does mean ‘peace’. That sense is when it is used to refer to the ‘Da’ar Al Islam’ (House of Peace), which is the phrase the muslims use to describe all the countries ruled by Islamic regimes collectively, kind of like “Christendom” used to be used in the West. This is opposed to the ‘House of War’, which is all the other countries that are not ruled by Islam.
But this ‘Peace’ only exists because resistance has been crushed. It’s the kind of ‘peace’ you get when one big guy in the cell block just kills anyone who dares to fight him. So this is why muslims can say “Islam means peace” and “Islam means submission” and they do not see a contradiction.
