Hallmark went to the dark side a couple years ago. I forgot what they did but there was discussion here on FR.
I saw a huge Hallmark Mother’s Day card, “To a Black Woman,” with an illustration on it.
Because why, all the other cards have white ladies’ pictures?! I must have missed those.

Homo themed stories...moreso than the occasional homo character.
I guess they carried that thru..We quit watching when they said they were going to do that.

Hallmark featured a lesbian wedding as a subplot; it’s only a matter of time until they unveil a lesbian relationship as the main plot...
also, Hallmark is all aboard on the inclusivity train; one of their most popular shows concentrates on an isolated Canadian town at the turn of the 20th century, and naturally, one of the prominently featured families is black...because that was so prevalent back then...
About 10 years ago it seemed that seemed that Hallmark movies started including one character with a hint that he was a little light in the loafers. A couple years later the characters became more effeminate. Then there’d be an in-your-face homo couple, but they were secondary characters. Perfect example of incrementalism.
About 3-4 years ago Hallmark made a statement that they were going all in on that lifestyle, and I guess they did. I quit watching then. IIRC, there was a lot of push-back but I don’t know if they backed off after that.
