In a secret chat room run by a group of Russian-affiliated cybercriminals, a hacker expressed excitement about a plan to attack and disable more than 400 U.S. hospitals. “There will be panic,” the hacker wrote, in Russian.
The hacking enterprise, called the Trickbot Group by federal prosecutors, and its affiliates had already collected hundreds of millions of dollars by shutting down emergency rooms, city governments and public schools since 2018.
Security researchers and U.S. officials say the internal conversations amount to the most complete and candid public look yet at the operations of a criminal ransomware enterprise.
A malware developer participating in the chats used a nickname previously identified in a federal indictment as a coder for Trickbot. And gaps in the logs coincide with periods when the group’s computer infrastructure was known to have been disrupted by law enforcement or intelligence agencies, according to security researchers and the security blogger Brian Krebs.
Trickbot runs an affiliate program that allows other criminals to sign up as partners and wield the group’s ransomware, servers and even its trained ransom negotiators in exchange for a percentage of each victim’s payment.
The leaks depict a highly professional and ruthless ransomware organization at the top of its game, said John Fokker, head of cyber investigations with the security firm Trellix. “They don’t discriminate in targets; they don’t care if they go after a hospital,” he said. “It’s all about making money.”

A hierarchy of hackers. They are here, they are queer --- GET USED TO IT.
CYA, Linux helps.
And now you know why Gropin Joe got $3.5 Million from the Mayor of Moscow, it was his cut of the take
“who paid for all the President Putin-loving posters?”
I am still waiting for my check!
But—I can be bought.
For one million dollars I will parrot the Mockingbird mass media propaganda talking points.
I have been shocked by the number of pro Putin and pro Russia people posting here on FR.
Russia is welcome to itself, and so is Ukraine, and I have grown weary of the ‘intelligence state’ playing game in places like Ukraine. Be that as it may, it’s no justification for invading first and then making up issues later. So, I cannot be pro Russia in the conflict as the motivation is clearly one of money and power, not self protection. Hard to be pro-Ukraine entirely because the leader was put in place by George Soros. I feel most for the people, those that farm, small business, or builders, who always get stepped on and destroyed by the power mongers like Putin, Biden, and Soros.
Well said Tex.
Putin Puffers unite...lol
Fair enough—but what you can do is pay attention to who is lying and who is telling the truth—particularly when we have hard physical evidence verified by a neutral third party:

The Ukraine accused Russia of disinformation about mines in the Black Sea, but the Turks confirmed it was Ukraine who was caught red-handed lying about the mines.
—”But—I can be bought.”
Fear not, you will be paid!
But in rubles.
Worse still...
President Putin is bleeding out his Army and Mother Russia.
And he cares not a whit.
Russia’s economy is a bit less than Italy’s and sinking.
The last time Italy made any aggressive moves... those vicious partisans... Does Mother Russia have partisans?
The Chinese will string him along for the oil and their Belt&Road... Then take what they like.
NB: Putin was never some master spy, he was simply a technocrat in East Germany, who never left the USSR.
Now not only killing Ukrainians but Russians too and the Russian economy.
A very sad story with no good endings.
Here is something for the Putin Puffers to celebrate...
Ukrainian woman gang-raped by drunk Russian soldiers as her son wept https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10662723/Ukrainian-woman-gang-raped-drunk-Russian-soldiers-four-year-old-son-wept.html?ito=native_share_article-masthead
Where are the leaks identifying pro-globalism supporters?
You know, those who call anyone who doesn’t support the NYT’s coverup of the Bidens’, the U.S. State Department’s, George Soros’, Colonel Vindman’s, etc., etc., etc., unexplained ties to Ukraine, “Putin lovers?”
They used to say “The sun never sets on the British Empire.”
Today we say “The sun never sets on the British Propaganda Empire.”
“You wondered who paid for all the President Putin-loving posters?
No kidding. FR has become the “Putin is a saint” HQ of the online-world.
Remember if you go too far to the right, you circle back and are on the far left. “
And they have to sprinkle in the word “neocon” a few times. That is the far right version of copying liberals who call someone “racist” when they have no real point to make.
“Why; you only support Ukraine because you are a neocon”.
Whatever a “neocon” is.
For the Putin Puffers to enjoy...

—”Where are the leaks identifying pro-globalism supporters?”
You are casting a very wide net,NYT, Soros, Vindman...
Could you post a Venn diagram to narrow the scope of your list?
Go to cspan and review the first impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Familiarity with that impeachment is basic civics that you should be well versed in if you are going to make any judgements regarding U.S. involvement in Ukraine.
Regarding the NYT and their downstream media, they hate us and want us dead. Do you need a Venn diagram for that too?
—”Do you need a Venn diagram for that too?”
Would help.
With your knowledge of Cspan, simply root out something that supports your position and post it.
Because your position is a bit nebulous, PLS include some pointers.
“It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness”
It’s not “knowledge of cspan.”
It’s awareness of U.S. civics in relation to Ukraine.
That is, it’s being aware of the testimony given, under oath, during the first impeachment of President Donald Trump.
That foundational knowledge and is certainly not “nebulous.”
The only reason I mention cspan is because you can get the actual testimony there as opposed to the propaganda you get from NYT and its like.
You know, those who call anyone who doesn’t support the NYT’s coverup of the Bidens’, the U.S. State Department’s, George Soros’, Colonel Vindman’s, etc., etc., etc., unexplained ties to Ukraine, “Putin lovers?”
Excellent questions! Unfortunately, I wouldn't expect to hear more leaks from the `Deep State` Democrat/corporate/media complex today, than during Mr. Trump's presidency, simply because they controlled the narrative then ("Russia evil! Trump evil!") and also control it now ("Russia evil! Trumps fault!").
The Ukraine situation lets them manipulate the world's economy via so-called "Russia sanctions" - how convenient is that? And we may even see Biden put US troops in the war, by identifying some hacker attack as "Russian", or just claiming the Russians used 'chemical weapons' (neither of which would make sense for the Ruskies to actually do, since they want to keep us out of the war). Getting Americans killed on Ukrainian battlefields, or having a supposed 'Russian' cyber-attack occur, would justify further Democrat 'emergency' measures here in the States, including modified election procedures (keeping the Dems in control of Congress through 2024).
Hope it doesn't happen, but the Dems are looking at an historic wipe-out in November, and desperately want to avoid it, so who knows? The whole situation kind of makes you wonder who's paying all the "Let's-Go-To-War-With-Russia!" political/corporate/media types (and maybe posters ;>)...
