Ironic, since it’s one of the few rifles that actually fits their “weapon of war” description. It’s coming up on a century since it entered service, and they’re getting really expensive.

That reminds me of my Army buddies down South telling me it’s “too cold up north to grow tobacco”! I had to show them pictures before they would believe it. All that fertile soil is under pavement now or has been trucked away. It’s a shame.
