I feel very pedantic but I think I've been noticing things like this more and more. What does this mean? Is it a kind of word salad? Did they string these words together because it might sound good? Hey, it's growing. Hey, let's think of something big. Let's think of a monster. Hey, it's growing like a big scary monster. Hey, it's growing like Godzilla.
Godzilla's size was fairly inconsistent (cheaply made movies don't worry too much about such continuity) but Godzilla is not known for any sort of "growth". He started huge.

That's my beef, too! He was born on third base and acted like he ran a triple stomping Tokyo. Never lived up to his full potential. Kinda the Ted Kennedy of monsters.
