Yes- every chance in the world that it was a stunt- there is a super slow mo that shows a 'hollywood slap' where just the fingertips basically brush the chin of the intended 'victim'-

Noone would 'punch' or even slap a person like this- with the finger angled backwards in order to prevent breaking them and hurting the other person if they were really pissed at someone and intended to hurt them-
