Friend put away my can opener where I didn't expect it. Made me realize I need a backup. Must be hand operated not electric
I’m going to post asking for advice for laundry detergent next
OXO Good Grips can opener….less than $20 and mine works great. Rinse after each use and clean with liquid dish detergent and a small brush then rinse and air dry. Do not put in the dish washer or soak in dish pan. Should last years.
Tide.
I remember when it was about conservative activism...I guess those days are gone.
It’s always been about multiple things with yes, a particular focus on conservatism. But sometimes you gotta let go and talk about other things.
Nothing wrong with that. It’s necessary to help keep one’s sanity.
Hi All,
A large amount of the responses were for the Swing Away model.
I found out the old swing aways were really good, but that they got bought out by the Chinese and quality supposedly diminished a lot.
But somehow there is an American made version of this same design by a different company. It is called EZ-Duz it, and is widely hailed as a quality product.
I managed to get both swing away and EZ-DUZ-IT in front of me.
I can assure you that EZ duz it is better quality.
So I give libwhacker the award for having suggested the best can opener. Maybe the german one someone suggested is good too, but it costs 3 times as much
I notice there have been quite a few bad reviews for EZ-DUZ-IT openers on Amazon the last several years. Here's hoping you have better luck than those folks did! A lot of the complaints are about rust... so I don't know, maybe people run them through the dishwasher (a big no-no) or leave them in the sink, never giving them the chance to dry out.
Keep it clean and dry and if the manufacturer hasn't tried to cut finishing costs too much over the years, it'll last you a good long time. Good luck! :-)
