I think it’s funny...many FReepers say they will not watch the Oscars...but apparently many do.

I don’t understand why Smith is so upset, after all, Will Smith is a cuck that let’s other men have sex with his wife.
The annual Oscar bore-fest is at the bottom of the list of things befouled by the Left.
Besides, the Oscars were overcome by wokeness long before it was a word.
Remember Marlon Brando handing his acceptance speech time over to Sacheen Littlefeather? That was 49 years ago. I think that may have been the inflection point.

It’s Chris Rock, he’s a comedian that makes mild fun of people all the time. It’s what he does. Smith knows that.
And the joke was lame, but not insulting.
Comparing this joke with what Ricky Gervais said of the various celebrities at the Golden Globe, it is nothing.
Do a rematch in a ring. Pay per view. Charity giving. See who backs down.
They were all smiling. It was a stupid staged act at a sleazy event trying to pick up lost viewers.
Yawn.
I have taken a punch to the jaw. This was a staged Oscar event. Chris didn’t even stagger.
I wasn’t watching and haven’t watched in years. This thread is here and people comment on it.
At the slap, it looked like Smith was joking. But, when he yelled an obscenity, it was clear he was serious. Wow.

The last Oscar show I watched all the way through was the year that ‘Lord of the Rings: Return of the King’ did the “clean sweep” as Stephen Speilberg said.
It was a slap... Seen it many times with the wrestlers on the WWE.
If he was really upset, it would have been a punch with a closed fist.
And Chris Rock did not look that surprised or shocked and certainly didn’t stagger.
All for show and ratings.
