Yes, heard this about Lukas. Another ass who thinks the US is so horrible.
Too bad he dressed up the empire like NAZIs and Japs and the point was lost on us.

Rogue One was fun. It felt like Star Wars. None of the other ones did.

Very handsome, but also very wooden. And bratty.

You’re right. Wonder what sort of surround sound system they were using in 1980?

And a whiner. Mark Hamil’s Luke was a whiner at the beginning of “A New Hope”, but at least he grew out of it without becoming Darth Vader.

It’s not the whining so much. It’s the arrogance.
I could never understand how “Anakin was a good friend” by his conceited arrogant behavior. And it was completely understandable how he might be Vader. TOT made it seem like it was a shock how Anakin went bad. The prequels made it obvious.

It was the first SW movie I saw as a kid and in the theaters no less. I love it. But Empire is the best.

Oh, to me it was the constant whining. Whining because he thought no one appreciated him, whining that everyone (even Obi Wan) was against him. Speaking as a man, to me this is was his most unbearable trait. He was a better person as a little kid than he was as a grown man.
