Hugely underrated as a drummer.
Also, the only artist to play both venues at Live Aid. Collins took the Concorde from London to New York, then a helicopter from New York to Philadelphia. Possible in 1985, impossible today.
Funny. Didn’t Jan Hooks die a few years back?
I can't remember when I finally got to see Genesis, but it might have been the Invisible Touch tour at the Oakland Coliseum Stadium in 1986.
I do know I saw the We Can't Dance Tour at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami in 1992, and again at the Oakland Coliseum Stadium a month later.
I also saw Phil Collins solo again with the No Jacket Required Tour at The Summit in 1985, and the Seriously, Live! Tour at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA in 1990.

Too bad Fish’s voice is shot, he would have been a good replacement as well.
This is a fantastic song that Tony and Fish did together.

Happy the Man, he leads a simple life.
Yep.
No disrespect..I enjoy freepers music likes and many recommendations.
Enjoy some tunes today…we sure have.
That was great stuff. I had that album on vinyl and unorthodox behavior as well. I am 57. So I remember and still listen to so much of that music.
🥂 Cheers.
Yeah, Wish it Would Rain Down is a great video, but Do You Remember is my favorite.
For some reason I start bawling when I see the little boy and girl flirting with each other.
I still have both those albums on vinyl.
Did he finally shine a spotlight on the person who murdered his friend while he performed “In the Air Tonight” at the concert?
He was so 80s, he performed at London Live Aid, hopped on a Concord and performed in Philadelphia within hours!
Heck of a carbon footprint, I must say.
Thanks.
Collins also did a lot of work outside Genesis and his solo albums. One fairly well known example:

Is that him in the vid as the photographer?
(Great songwriting (as usual) by Russ Ballard.)
