I’m pointing out that somebody saying they’re ending 3G to EOL phones you can easily disconnect from the battery so they can track is saying paranoid nonsense.

And yet, its near impossible to pull the battery from the newer phones without breaking them first or being a repair tech.

Just sayin'...

Of course. The easier it is to replace the battery the longer you can go without replacing the phone. Rechargeable batteries have a finite life. And it’s shorter than the useful life of the rest of the phone. Every piece of electronics I’ve replaced in the last 5 years at least has been because the battery life was no longer useful to me. Like I said to the other guy: the answer to all your questions is money.
