Wow that sentence, much like your assertion that they’re getting rid of 3G just to track you, makes not one damn lick of sense.

Some truths are eternal. Companies want to make money. That is an eternal truth. One way to make money is to drop costs. Like the cost of maintaining a 20+ year old communication network that is horribly post dated and can’t work on any of the new hot equipment. Another way to make money is to increase sales, like getting the people still hanging on to old crusty technology to buy some new hotness.

It’s economic factors. Period. Anybody saying otherwise is spewing nonsense. Like that sentence. Really. That’s just straight up gobbledygook.

Yesterday's conspiracy theories are today's truth. Where have you been?

Again, yesterday's conspiracy theories have been proven to be today's truth. Where have you been?

The infrastructure costs for 3G were sunk long ago and have been nothing more than pure gravy (profit) for telecom. That's a fact whether or not you or I like it.

I don't have a dog in this hunt. I'm hanging onto my 4 year old Galaxy S9 as long as I can, primarily because I don't want or need 5G nor the higher costs associated with it.

What's the problem with that, other than impacting your Wireless Carrier profit margins and dividends you receive as a result?
