I didn’t mind paying for the ambulance ride, or the emergency room fees, but that 5K the quack charged for beating on my already dead father’s chest for 3/4 of an hour was a little much. A-hole.
That’s what they are obligated to do without a DNR.
I am sorry that happened to you. Survival from in the field is less than 10%.
There is a criteria that determines whether or not a person is revivable.
This is a good thing because it removes Doctors from deciding themselves and following the set standards.
You Father’s wife should have been given a better place to wait where the sounds of attempted resuscitating your Father couldn’t be heard.
