Mine lasted quite a bit longer. This was in late January when Omicron was raging and I had no clue where I got it because I pretty much just go to work and home, and nobody in either place had it. First, I only had the horse paste but fairly confident I dosed it correctly. Had the Zinc and C and D3 twice daily all through the pandemic.
First symptom was a sore throat. Got more painful. Checked tonsils because it felt like strep throat which I had more than a dozen times in my youth but no white spots or swelling that I could see.
Next day awoke with a mild fever, around 101. Took Tylenol and slept it off. 8 hours later fever was gone. Decided to take a test. Throat still hurt really badly. I had some Chloraseptic lozenges with 15mg lidocaine, that worked really well and the wife went to 5 places to find more (4 including 2 Wal-Marts and a Target were complete sold out of just about every lozenge but I knew I only wanted Chloraseptic 15mg). Luckily she found them at the grocery store tucked away and bought 4 boxes. Anyone with very painful throat I recommend those.
Nasty cough, productive for several days. I live a few minutes drive from a county drive-through center so I did the test every day. 9 days before the first negative (no tests on Sundays). Got 2 more negatives to confirm. I got elderly family and a sense of community I didn’t want to spread it around so I was in quarantine for basically 1 week + 2 weekends. I forgot what I watched on the TV, I think mostly re-binged things I’ve seen before and slept a lot out of boredom.
Wife tested positive about a week after my first test, hers lasted just a few days and she got two negatives to confirm.
i have no idea if manuka honey would help with Covid throat issues but it has helped me with a variety of issues both
inside and outside such as burns.
But you need the real stuff with UMF rating if you can get it..if you can’t then just try what you can get at the local pharmacy or grocery store

Yeah, same here with the Omi. I suspected it was the big C since I rarely get a sore throat, but for me it was just mild pain.
A bit of phlemy thing was going on too, nothing too heavy/ Feeling more tired than usual, eyes seemed more light-sensitive also. Was all over but the shouting in about a week.
I was 2x vaxed and boosted.
Good for you and your wife! You also have natural immunity! Congrats!
