I kind of lean toward Peter Gunn, but there are so many.
Mancini wrote it, btw.

No one mentioned Bewitched, either!
Composed by the Broadway great Richard Rodgers, of the composer/lyricist duo Rodgers and Hammerstein (Oklahoma!, South Pacific, The King and I, The Sound of Music, and others).
The Young and the Restless (1996)
The Bold and the Beautiful (2019)
And some catchy nighttime themes:

Here is 1 hour 18 minutes of tv theme songs. They insert actors in remakes of classic sjhows for some reason for some.

How about the theme from The Lone Ranger, or Walker Texas Ranger?
Go gophers!
Out west in Gopher Gulch lived Indian tribe
Then come the pioneers, pushed them aside
All Indians leave but two, they vow to fight
What can two Indians do?
(Gibberish)
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Here comes the colonel with his sergeant,
Both a-roarin’ and a-chargin’!
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Two little Indians, all others gone
Two little Indians, left all alone
No buffalo to run, no tribe to lead
What can they do for fun?
(Gibberish)
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Here comes the colonel with his sergeant,
Both a-roarin’ and a-chargin’!
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Two little Indians, no others near
Colonel he vows these two soon disappear
Fighting the army with soldiers galore
What can two Indians do?
(Gibberish)
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Here comes the colonel with his sargeant,
Both a-roarin’ and a-chargin’!
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
Go go gophers, watch ‘em go go go!
The Lone Ranger’s use of the William Tell Overture was a great example of how our generation grew up with regular exposure to classical music. These modern kiddies get much less classical music in their cartoons, shows, and films.
Third Rock From The Sun.
HA..! Those were the exact two I thought of as well... Does that mean I'm old? I'm only 78....
Car 54, where are you.......?
Can’t figure out what tune I’m hearing in my head...will post when I figure it out but in the meantime...I knew the lovely man behind production of both Route 66 and Hawaii 50, both theme songs perfectly capture their shows.
Welcome Back Kotter represents the gentler side of the 70’s ethos, a tune so sweet and happy it makes me smile:
