Lots of people who dont want to fight, say they’d rather take the first swing and end it if they believe the other person is not gonna leave them alone and de-escalating by saying you dont want to fight, I’ll buy you a beer, doesnt work.
Just depends on why you’re doing it, whether you instigated what preceded or if you were dealing with the instigator before he got the first swipe.
