A 3 min video on how a lot of us feel about the current situation. Unfortunately.
What if Putin Takes out Kiev with a small nuke? What would the USA do? End the world? Blow up one city? Do nothing? What would Joe Biden do>? what would American Oligarchs advise? Even in their bunkers—they would be gone in time. What good is money in a Nuked world? That is a question.
I refuse to believe that the U.S. is not being the drivers of some of these drones. U.S.covert ops using Turkeys drones.....Just looking at target acquisition and firing sequence, somebody is doing a great job.
The Nato intelligence is that 40,000 Russian troops are out of action. The total includes dead wounded and captured.
Day before yesterday, Russian helicopters occupied an airfield in Ukraine. They are all gone as of yesterday. The video supported word is the helicopters were hauled away on trucks. They were not flown away presumedly because there was no fuel.
The prevailing warriors killing the thousands of Russians and winning the war are operating the drones that carry what are termed grenades. Working as a team the keyboard warriors find targets, provide GPS coordinates and the keyboard warrior directs a drone to destroy the target. These key boarders have become sophisticated in target selection . They have learned that Russian commanders are in trucks. A command truck is an excellent target.
All is done from an undetectable distance and fantastically high altitude.
There are of course Ukranian troops on the ground. So it is not totally a keyboard effort. The small special forces units use American and British hand held ( manpads?) to destroy Russian armor and then just fade away.
There is news and video of another extremely effective British keyboarders operating from an extremely large airplane literally crammed with keyboarders and electronic equipment. This plane collects the ordinary radio traffic of the Russian invaders, sifts through it and delivers the info to the Ukranian key boarders.
In todays terms, the Russians are not really warriors, they are targets and in serious danger. It is today and ain’t your grandaddy’s oldsmobile war
Your ignorance is profound
See my post 23 for the reality
“The key boarders flying the drones are defeating the Russian armor. Turkish made drones are de facto winning the war for Ukraine”
Without a doubt, those drones are helping them a lot, but they didn’t have that many at the beginning of the war - 20, to be precise. https://www.forbes.com/sites/davidaxe/2022/02/08/ukraines-got-20-tb-2-drones-it-might-not-matter-in-a-wider-war-with-russia/?sh=4152730e353f
Yes, they’ve gotten more since then, but especially with the non-Turkish ones, there’s some training involved before they can be used effectively.
You seem to be completely discounting the effect of the weapons that Ukraine’s army had before the war, as well as the thousands of Javelins and Stingers (and similar weapons) are having, let alone what their military personnel (245,000 active duty, 220,000 reserves) are doing. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armed_Forces_of_Ukraine Not to mention all of those who’ve been drafted or who volunteered. You need boots on the ground to successfully resist an invasion.
Drones help, but alone they’re simply not enough. What we see on TV is pretty spectacular, but we’re NOT seeing the daily grinding down of the Russian Army by infantry because it is NOT spectacular - it is boring for most watchers, hence you won’t see it on TV. That, and there’s no risk to reporters to download drone footage given to them on a silver platter by Ukraine and then broadcast the most interesting parts; reporters are generally not too anxious to be in the middle of a firefight.
I won’t disagree. My purpose is to take notice of an important change in weaponry that is making a very large contribution to the Ukranian defense and victories.
MANPADS from the USA and elsewhere are also having devastating effect on Russian armor.
It is a very good time to be in the drone and ancillary equipment business.
Agreed…especially with WW3 right around the corner.
