In this important election year, Republicans, particularly, would be wise to keep primary focus on challenges at home.
Watching cable news and listening to talkers and a parade of congressional Republicans, you’d think someone waved a magic wand, making all of America’s troubles vanish. The Ukraine war is very visible, however. The war for the nation’s future is gone, as are the many battles that comprise that war… a war that decides whether or not America is free and prosperous or succumbs to authoritarianism, whatever the brand.
Conservatives -- those gripped by war fever with Russia -- are ignoring the cold civil war raging in our country. “American Marxism,” conceptualized by Mark Levin, is no less a threat to the nation. Lose the war to that ism and America is finished, even if it’s still called the “U.S.A.” and retains some of its trappings.
Republicans are making a serious strategic blunder. Their preoccupation with Putin’s aggression won’t win the GOP seats in congressional and downballot elections this November. Voters will tire soon enough of Ukraine, 24/7. Moreover, due to Joe Biden’s stunning incompetence and ideologically driven agenda, Americans are grappling with inflation-induced gas and grocery price hikes, an open border, and worries about crime. Those issues are uppermost for voters. They’re priorities.
In the last ten days or so, it's conservative and Republican voices that are being heard the loudest on the war. Democrats and their media allies have drawn back. Biden has made it clear that he won’t risk war with Russia. A no-fly zone is a nonstarter. Sending fighter aircraft is a no-go. Democrats make political calculations about everything. Maybe they’re sensing that banging war drums won’t win midterm elections?

The GOP better wake up to the Marxixt cold civil war going on in our country. The leftist tactics are out in the open and easy for people to see. Conservative candidates need to be very clear what this internal war is and the consequences if the left wins.
Many front war. From local school boards to international events.
The GOP cannot address the left’s intentions because their wives will then be excluded from all the cool social events.
I will not vote for any candidate, GOP, Democrat, or other, who favors US military involvement on behalf of alien peoples.
This GOP obsession is the one thing they can do to screw up the Fall elections, and, unbelievably - they are doing it.
Republicans are idiots.
Republicans need to go back to talking about the invasion of our borders and not the invasion of Ukraine’s borders if they want to see good November election results.
Republicans have snatched Biden's war from under him, and now own it. They also own any Russian retaliation that will befall the American people. I'm still trying to decide if they are simply dopey or is this a part of the larger political scam. Maybe both?

Nor will I. America First candidates are the only ones who will get my support.
A politician who tells me that Ukraine is a vital national interest while our southern border is wide open, deadly poisons are smuggled in by the ton, inflation destroys what little is left of the value of the US dollar, and criminals are free to roam our streets has shown he or she doesn’t give a **** about me or my family.
Party affiliation is of no consequence to me any more.

An invasion of cheaper labor will never be fought by our elected officials.
Russia will get to claim victory by getting a peace treaty that recognizes their defacto annexation of the Crimean peninsula and other ethnic Russian majority regions of the Donbass. Perhaps via a period of show autonomy after which a vote is held to decide if they want to remain independent or join one or the other bordering big powers.
Ukraine will get to claim victory because Russia must give them a massive rebuilding package which can include, as a main point, so many million barrels of oil and cubic meters of gas. They get the power to station third party troops (other than NATO) in the Crimea and Donbass until such time as the commitment is fulfilled.
Newsflash..... elections have been screwed up for quite some time. 2020 showed anyone paying attention the full bloom of election fraud.
