Lewis is always a good read
I haven’t read Screwtape in years. I need to dig out my copy.
Great C S Lewis book, I read it once before I was Saved and scoffed, read it after I was Saved and both marveled at the Devil’s cunning and thanked God I am no longer fooled.

Love your posts.
Thx much.
One of my favorite CS Lewis books.
BTTT!
Thanks for posting!
Although “The Screwtape Letters” does well in explicating the evil around us, there is another Clive Staples Lewis book that is more directly applicable:
“That Hideous Strength” is chillingly prescient about the Babel-like Transhumanism and monsters like Klaus Schwab.
(”The Screwtape Letters” was dedicated to fellow scholar, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien.)
Excellent reminder to re-read this classic.
Satan cares not for the minions he owns. His sole driving pursuits are attacks on the little ones he doesn’t own and he is relentless in this. He wants the ones he can’t have. He attacks the ones who seek the Lord and His proposes. Often, the closer we walk with God, the more we do to serve Him, the greater the attacks may be. Be on your guard, that his birds of the air don’t snatch away the good that God calls you to be and do.
He certainly does prowl as a roaring lion seeking those he may devour.
Warning brothers and sisters in Christ. Put on the full armor of God that you are prepared to stand when the evil one tries to trip you up, bait you, or harm your godly reputation, because he is relentless.
We, who are in Him, have seen these things and this book is a heavy reminder of the very real tricks used by evil to snatch us of off God’s path and help us to be aware of the schemes of the evil one.
But! We have victory when we abide in Him.
Be ever careful, ever praying and ever blessed
Just a reminder to be vigilant.
I write this to others, but also to myself, because I’m seeing it in real time lately, as the evil one is trying to destroy what God wants to do.
Prayer up for all who read this thread and are enduring and overcoming the attempted snares of the evil one, who’s time is short and who has already lost the battle against the Holy One.
...that is all
p.s. There is an annotated edition available!
Apparently it is even more in depth.
Also try A Nefarious Plot, by Steve Deace. He was interviewed by Rush that’s how I learned if it, IIRC. It’s an updated for our times Screwtape Letters. I got it and wow great read. Have read it a second time a couple of years ago.
