Palin is extremely underwhelming and is not at all the serious person I once mistakenly thought she was, squandering a once in a generation opportunity to build up a Conservative grassroots juggernaut like Reagan did in the mid 70’s.
Yep. At first I saw Sarah Palin as the next Reagan. Boy, did she disappoint. Much of that was not her fault. But much of it was. Anyway, I wish Palin the best. And having her in Congress would annoy the Left. So I say go for it.
I got it, but she's being judged on a very high bar - she's not the daughter of wealthy, connected parents - she's pretty-much blue-collar.
Granted, she's no great intellect, but there are some very bright people/Rhodes scholars-types who are, well, idiots.
And have you seen some of the morons in the House? Tell me she couldn't eat their lunch all day long.
She's made some poor choices, but who the heck hasn't. All-in-all she's had much more success than most of us from that same socio-economic strata.
Like Lorena Bobbert in Colorado, I think she's refreshing.
Where do I send her a contribution?
I think she fell in love with the spotlight and sideshow talk circuit.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going, and the weak walk away. When Palin was viscously under attack, as governor, by her political opponents, she quit and walked away. No thanks.
