Sarah Palin endorsed the RAT backed "Independent" candidate for Alaska Governor in 2014 (who had a "unity" ticket by picking the former DemonRAT nominee as his "running mate") over the GOP nominee, and she held a fundraiser for him at her home. He went on to narrowly win that election and proved to be every bit the disaster as Governor that Republicans had warned about.
