No doubt Hawley’s statements made a lot of the other Republicans uncomfortable. They would (and probably will) say”though I would come out a bit differently than her on a few opinions, she is within the broad spectrum of American jurisprudence and so I must vote to confirm.”

So here is the difference. If a Republican gets nominated for the Supremes, they put he or she through the ringer. But if a Black female gets nominated, Republicans are told to back off on questioning the candidate.

They are hypocrites. Condi Rice and a Black Female who was put up for the Supremes under George Bush were raked over the coals. But the media never called Biden, Leahy or any of the other Democrat clowns racist. It’s a one way street. Democrats get a pass.
