But a lot of the people here think that those concerned about the civilians and what is being done to them are somehow fostering WWIII. They seem to demand that everyone agree that Putin had every right to do this; and if anyone opines differently they are met with snide remarks and condemnation.
I haven’t seen anybody here suggest that the US should start WWIII, or even champion Zelensky. But that’s what half of the Freepers are being accused of by the other half.
Free Republic is as nasty and unpleasant now as it became when Trump declared that he would run for President.
I think I disagree with you, if memory serves it was nastier over Trump, a lot more personal attacks.
The troll farm types seem to be in an alternate reality (which they kind of are) and there is a lot more false dilemma arguments with most but not all of them.
I just hope we all muddle through ok. Its like we are dealing with perfectly acceptable people who happen to be brainwashed, like in a cult.
