I know fecal transplants sound incredibly strange, but they are proving to be very useful in changing, or even curing, some bad conditions.

The bacteria we nurse in our intestines changes or continues through our eating habits, coupled with any new strains we bring in. These colonies already were known for predigesting our foods, such that our colon can take the nutrients up.

Not all bacteria are germs we should get rid of. I still have a hard time reconciling that.

This study seems to show men are generally less likely to benefit from someone else’s poo.

Fecal transplant was next on the list but recovered before. You don’t take a pill, it is shoved up your rectum. Remember, the acids in your stomach kill a lot of bacteria.

The original documented fecal translation was in a book from the 60s called the Making of a Surgeon iirc.

It involved chocolate milk shake very good idea for those with incompetent microbemes.
