I agree with the author. By disclosing this at this time, it is apparent that the NYT rag has decided that prosecution is likely, and they are in CYA mode for their outright lies during the Trump Presidency (perhaps criminally so). This is not an indication that they give a damn about the truth.

Impeachment gets you Kamala Harris who was chosen to be Joe’ s protection against impeachment. Joe isn’t calling the shots anyway.

I have no faith in impeachment

I prefer constant antagonism induced apoplexy. Blowing a gasket and bad stroke is preferred to the national agony surrounding impeachment

I don’t think the dims will allow the repubs to have a win by impeaching biden. The dims will probably pull the 25th amendment in a show of “compassion” for old slow joe. For the children dontchaknow. What happens after that, who knows. The dims have thrown all the rules out the window and no one is going to enforce the rules or laws.

And who impeaches the Repugnants in Kongress since they sat on their fat, stoned ......... brains and let it all happen. Just like they stood by and let a foreign born, dope addict raghead be installed as president.
