I could probably get 2 or 3 ....4 year diplomas by taking just a very few Courses.

I feel ya. I took my time and tried out biology, chemistry, psychology, and finally settled on physics and mathematics. If not for the Internet and my having certain skills in that regard to capitalize on, I probably would have been an Ivory Tower nerd a la Leonard Hofstadter.
