What OS are you using?

With Ubuntu, there’s an icon on the left hand icon bar, where upon clicking it, you can select the area to be captured and then save it to the desktop.

Then upload to imgur, imgflip, or whatever image hosting site you like; once uploaded you can copy the URL and paste into a reply on this thread.
