I suspected that this was not one program. What is the Linux single program equivalent to Windows default Task Manager with its Process, Performance, App History, Users, Details and Services (tabs), each with multiple information columns?

Dunno. Only use I ever had for task manager in windows was to kill a program that had frozen. I don’t have to do that anymore.

I am making the jump to Fedora to try out its KDE.
Is there anything to know that is important?

Not really. The package manager is different, of course. That's about it.

KDE will be different. Rather than install an entire new OS, you could've just installed KDE alongside your current Desktop Environment.

I recently had Linux programs I had to kill and others which malfunctioned and it asked me if I wanted to report such.

I am used to KDE, that’s no problem (I prefer KDE)..
I was hooked to Mint KDE, until they stopped supporting it. I did try to m anually install/update it with Mint, but too many issues and bugs.
Manjaro.. hmm, too many ‘not likes’ to mention. Kubuntu was ok, but too many bugs.
(Cinnamon is pretty, but no control :>( )

I have been wanting to try Fedora again, but have been terrified of the crossover. Last time I tried Fedora was around 15 years ago, and it was a nightmare (at the time).

But, so far, it looks very nice.

(Oh, one thing I found unusual, is that I didn’t need to put in a password for updates. That is a first.)

Dude, I thought this was about Hot Geek Chicks on the Internet.

Wow.. I love it. There is actually more flexibility with this than I had with Mint.
The only issue I am having atm, is my internet speed for updates.

(Still confused about no PW required for updates.. but I went into settings and set it for auto-updates, which we didn’t have with Mint/Kubuntu/Manjaro.)

Honestly... I tried it and didn’t really like it. Spoiled with Mint Cinnamon I guess.

One I do want to try though is Parrot OS. I want to make a dedicated full install on an external stand alone drive. But... Was reading about bug reports yesterday and for an OS designed for Devs and security experts it has a LOT of problems. I think they are fiddling with stuff that isn’t broken. Fiddlers must fiddle and I guess leave stuff well alone. Sounds more unstable than windows so far. But I like the tools it comes with.
