I have a son who was an NCAA distance runner; I’m glad honestly that his younger sister isn’t headed down that same path of college athletes (but she’s a good high school runner). It would be such agony to miss out on college recruiting etc because boys started winning all the girls’ track and cross country high school state championships etc. it is a lot of hard work and effort for those girls.
Yeah, completely forgot about the scholarship aspect of this.
I don’t know jack about swimming but watching that clip it seems just his size makes a huge difference as he is powering through the water.
