“The dead sheep was one of 18 sheep the wolverine had killed or wounded in the area that morning...”

That just doesn’t seem right. I can’t see the wolverine with a whole bunch of woundings but no kill, and it doesn’t eat more than one or two sheep at a time, and I don’t think they just run around killing for sport.

The old TV show, “Thee Monroe’s” in the 60’s, had an episode with a monster attacking their food. They were all terrified, because it was a wolverine. I thought it was going to be a bear. They were more frightened because it was a wolverine.

According to the National Wildlife Federation, wolverines are the largest land-living species in the weasel family, or mustelids. The group says about 60% of the wolverines' habitat in the lower 48 states will be eradicated in the next seven decades because of climate change.

It must be a part of CBS’s style guide to work in Climate Change in to every article about wild life.

What a bunch of BS. They have no idea what “Climate Change” will do to the habitats of any wild animal.

They keep on saying that the polar bear will become extinct do to climate change and yet every year their are more polar bears.

“...USDA-Wildlife Services was flying over Rich County, Utah when they noticed an animal feeding on a dead sheep. The dead sheep was one of 18 sheep the wolverine had killed or wounded in the area that morning.....”

And they “wonder” WHY there are no wolverines in Utah?

Maybe they should ask “sheep farmers”.
