Nope, they assume that wolverine killed all those sheep. Could have been a pack of wolves or coyotes and the lone wolverine was just munching on their kill.

I'm having trouble visualizing a short-legged animal that lopes along the ground being able to take down and kill multiple sheep in one area.

I get it if the wolverine stalked a sheep and got it by surprise, but the rest would have scattered.

What it do, tell them the funniest joke in the world and wait for them to drop?

No, they're not. You're applying a human feeling to a wild animal. That's pretty ignorant.

You might want to stick to med beds and QFS!

I think animals have feelings you know. My cat will chase a feather on a string. I don’t think he is calculating how this will aid in his long term survival. It is just an instinct, which is usually manifest by way of a feeling.

Not sure we will agree on an intersection of instincts / feelings, but you’re example is reasonable and there is an argument to be made that animals have feelings.

Domestic housecats would seem to be an exception, as they are domesticated and interaction with humans has shaped how they behave.

Actually it may be true that wolves killed the sheep and the Wolverine was just eating one. Wolves are known spree killers well to everyone but you. 😆

No, you just don’t know crap about wolves.

And it’s not call spree killing. Good grief - how ignorant.

Yep gotta watch out for those spree killers. Nasty creatures
be they two or four legged. Personally I’m more cautious of
the two legged kind.

The only ignorant thing is your total lack of knowledge about the behavior of wolves. Talk to a sheep rancher and get back to us. 😆

LOl. I suspect you have done zero work in areas with wolf populations or even read wolf related research about surplus killings. And yes, I have talked with ranchers and worked with a couple in Idaho several years ago.

You should probably stop - you’re being foolish and ignorant.

Nice attempt at deflection. You’ve been doing it for a long time!

What’s the last research or annotated bibliography you’ve read regarding surplus killing by wolves? That’s right - you haven’t.

You go, “girl”!

The whole world well except you I guess has a fundamental understanding of the fact that wolves decimate sheep ,goat and cattle herds. That’s why they were hunted to extinction. That’s why the Wolverine was found with 18 dead sheep instead of one.
