People used to sing this driving to the coast:
“California here I come, right back where I started from…”
Then: "Have you not heard about crime, taxes, gas prices, needles in the street, draconian laws. Need I go on?"
Oh! Well then, a new tune:
“California I am going away, Not going to stay here another day”
And here they come to my Montana...hope they have learned their lesson. Met a man who just moved from Portland and he described himself as an "escapee". He described a hockey game where Antifa prohibited cheering for the first half and then only allowed communist type words in the second. He never went back.
In the 70's we lived in very conservative Medord, Or. and the slogan was, "Don't Californicate Oregon" as masses moved north. They did it anyway.
I hope for better for Montana. Maybe they should sign a voting guarantee when they cross the border.
Unfortunately, the Demoscum invasion forces keep rigging the “election” for Jon Testes...
They are poisoning Montana too. The locusts are destroying everywhere, bit by bit. We need a giant can of Raid.
I thought you were in Georgia???
We move around a lot to keep one step ahead.
People move for many reasons, politics is a less likely reason than a career move, family that needs help, health reasons, etc.
1 in 3 California voters went for Trump. I think those people are the most likely to leave for political reasons. And they are ones you prefer over the others.
I just left Portland for the suburbs of Seattle - on the east side of Lake Washington. Believe it or not...it’s an improvement - no tents surrounded by garbage here.
Son just left SF for Bozeman. Unfortunately he’s still a democrat.
I just watched an old Hart to Hart episode during dinner and started tinkling of how i would dream of living in California when i was young.
What a laugh
Sad..
Many more voters in California are conservatives. However, the elections are so rigged that unless you win by a 5 pt. margin forget about winning the seat. I moved from a No. Calif. town that in the past was 50/50. Now liberals punish any decent. I live in a neighboring state and have met more conservatives from California than I knew there. Maybe, conservatives are making other states maintain their conservatism. Just my observation.
California is like 4 states in one. A friend lives in Bakersfield. She sleeps in her truck at work sites. Another friend is homeless in San Diego.
It’s amazing how casual that is. You would freeze to death here

Need some better hockey players…
Montana? If I need ice, I prefer it my Margaritas.☺
I live in California. I am a conservative. I love California for the weather and all the amazing views and outdoor activities. I know it’s probably blasphemy in this great forum to say that I love California, but I don’t care. All of my church mates and friends are conservative. I am polite with the commies here but I don’t make a concerted effort to hang out with them or speak with them about politics. I’ll be durned if I’m going to let the commies drive me out of my state. They can leave, not me. I don’t have any problem with conservatives leaving here, but I won’t be driven out. I believe that’s just what they want me to do. My sincerely held two pennies. My conservative church mates and I are on the front lines of the battle. I’m staying.
I said the same thing some years back. But when it became crystal clear it would only get worse, I cashed in and bailed out. I only wished I had done it about 10 years earlier.
It’s not your state, it’s theirs.
