Horrifying video shows woman shot dead after stabbing cop serving eviction notice
Harrowing bodycam footage shows the moment a San Diego woman was shot dead by cops serving an eviction notice — after she went ballistic and stabbed an officer.
The newly released video shows Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Bunch knocking on the door of 47-year-old Yan Li at the Acqua Vista Condominiums on March 3.
“Here’s a notice to evict,” Bunch tells the woman, who is seen brandishing a large knife at her side, the San Diego Union Tribune reported.
“Put the knife down right now or I’m gonna f—- shoot!” the deputy yells as he draws his service weapon. “Put the knife down. Put the f—- knife down!”

Indeed.....she should have stayed in her own country.
He was a sheriffs deputy and he called for backup and waited till they arrived. I suppose a prig would have said they should have released the dog, but I would prefer this outcome to the dog getting stabbed.
She was not holding the butcher knife in a “Ima chop some onions” manner. It was blade-down, fist closed - a stab move... And she did raise it at one point. Brandishing after being told to drop it by an officer..
She accepted the notice.
All she had to do was put down the knife, and say I was in the kitchen cooking,...ect
Her only problem woulda been finding a new place to live.
But, NO!!! No one can follow simple instructions from PO’s, and now society wwill call bad on police.
Simple commands should be followed!! Otherwise bad things happen
That’s true. He did eventually goad her into waving it around.
Good thing the didn’t walk away after serving her. He would never have had a chance to escalate the situation.

I severed papers for decades.
He should have just walked away unless he eviction papers were for physical removal.
That wasn’t clear.
The cop clearly escalated the situation unnecessarily. Any of you who say otherwise either didn’t watch the video or are the usual boot lickers.
“A knife against 6 armed police, wise choice.”
Dey was ALL imposters...including the fake police dog... that REALLY wanted some of dat lady! LOL.
One would think the perp was black and you were black, the way you're defending her.
