True. Back in 2014, my Dad had a bike accident in which he broke his pelvis. While recuperating at home, he had to give himself a shot of anticoagulant 5 days in a row in order to prevent blood clots in the area, which could then get free and go to his lungs, possibly killing him.

Had she had one of these surgeries recently? I didn’t see that in the article. Seems young for that.
