OK. That’ll do. Ukraine, then, is his Ethiopia, only since the inhabitants are white, the whole world’s getting upset at the atrocities, including the troops committing them.

I didn’t say Jews can’t be fascists. I’ve met a few. But a Jewish Nazi, let alone a Hitler, is an oxymoron, and there is no basis for saying that Zelenskyy is another Hitler, albeit a Jewish one, other than his tolerating this throwback battalion.

Anyway, what exactly is this Nazi battalion doing? If they’re defending Ukraine despite the Jewish president, it seems they’re in violation of one of the basic tenets of Nazism, and they ought to side with Putin again, just like Adolf originally did with Stalin.

So what region are they defending? Are they mistreating the “untermenschen” where they are; Jooos!, Gypsies, homos, communists, Slavs?

Historically, because Stalin used Jewish Party members to do the dirty work of Collectivization, which caused the deaths from starvation of between three and four million Ukrainians, the Ukrainian people surviving viewed Hitler’s invasion as a liberator, and when he wanted to murder the poor Jews living in the Pale of Settlement, they saw this as their chance for revenge on the Jewish Party members from Moscow and Kiev who had actually done the filthy deeds. So they were very friendly to the Nazis. Then word came down from Hitler that since the Ukrainians were Slavs, they were also untermenschen, and not only that were a great source of slave labor, so they conned a bunch of them into “volunteering” to work in Germany and support the war effort, and used the women foolish enough to come as whores, and the man as slaves in the factories and farms, and stepped up the pressure for the rest of them to volunteer, and since word had reached them through the Ukrainian grapevine, censored letters from those in Germany with idiomatic hints incomprehensible to the German censors, and occasional escapees, and the Germans themselves got seriously heavy handed with them, the Ukes still in Ukraine got buyer’s remorse, and some ran off to join the partisans, most stopped volunteering as guards in Concentration Camps, etc.

That is the probable origin of this battalion, which apparently enjoyed the German occupation despite the abuses, and are nostalgic for it.

But what I’d like to know is what is the substantive nature of their “Nazism,” other than Nazi uniforms and regalia. The Latvians were also enamored of the Nazis during their occupation, because they hated Russia, but they were mostly uninterested in persecuting Jews. So what Nazi stuff is this battalion doing?
