“...The sign on the door of my skin cancer doctor said they were required. I wore mine in but when I got to the exam room and the doctor and her assistant came in, she said “you can take that thing off while in here if you want to”. In other words, I wasn’t out in the public waiting room where everybody could see me without it.”
My Wife had a ‘skin cancer doctor’ who recently left our local hospital to work at the new (not open until mid-summer) Billings Hospital (extension).
This Oncologist was a mask wearing fool! Often she had two masks on. We never really trusted her.
Now Mrs. BBB333 has a new Oncologist and he’s very cool. Upon our first meeting he mentioned that a mask was not necessary while ‘in session.’
Tomorrow we will have to mask-up for several hours while she has her infusion which is working well. If it wasn’t for the miracle of monoclonal antibodies Mrs. BBB333 would, at best, be in hospice now. She’s doing well and we are both grateful that the new Oncologist is intelligent AND knowledgable.
Happy St. Patrics Day, FRiend.
So glad Mrs. BBB is doing well. Doctors will be the death of us all. I’m happy there are still a few around with some sense.
Happy St. Patrick’s to you too!
good news, BBB333!
