All literature flows from The Bible; literature is the scribe of eternity.
Literature would not exist without the Bible [as a conceptual entity].
The Bible is the foundation of all knowledge of the human existence.
It is the beginning of recorded history yet doesn’t record history - it passes it [knowledge] on through all of time.

At a meeting of top business leaders in NYC in the early '90s, one of the CEOs reacted to a fellow businessman's suggestion by saying "You're asking for a miracle on the order of the Loaves and the Fishes."

To which Felix Rohayton, head of Lazard Freres, the Rothschild's bank, asked loudly, "What are these loaves and fishes you're talking about?

Up until then, I assumed we all shared a set of common references that shaped our thinking. I was wrong.
